Wonderful Weddings...Part II

College friends and sorority
sisters.

About a month or so ago I told you all about several friend's weddings Leon and I had attended. Well, this is the second part to that post. I'll try to keep this fairly short and not too long and drawn out. Let's start with my freshman roommate, Courtney Luster Hanchey. Courtney and her now husband Chris were married on June 18 at The Foundry at Puritan Mill (http://www.novareevents.com/puritan/) in Atlanta. It was a very unique space, which made for a beautiful site for the ceremony and reception. Minus the booming thunderstorm and hailstones during the ceremony, everything was gorgeous and went wonderfully.  The two were married in an intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family looking on in admiration of the happy couple. The funny part was as soon as the minister said "I now pronounce you man and wife," there was a loud boom of thunder. Everyone laughed hysterically! Following the ceremony we enjoyed a cocktail hour with several specialty brews and yummy snacks. After the cocktail time we enjoyed a delicious followed by lots and lots of dancing. At the end of the night Courtney and Chris left to everyone shaking Auburn or Alabama shakers before leaving for their honeymoon in Antigua. They sweet couple now resides in Atlanta and we wish them all the happiness in the world!

Another one of our good friends, Danna Black Stringfellow, also married the love of her life, Matt, recently in a beautiful rooftop ceremony in downtown Montgomery at the Alley Station. The ceremony was adorned with a gorgeous flower arch and a nice view of the city and the bride was as beautiful as ever. Following the ceremony we enjoyed some wonderful food that we just couldn't get enough of, especially the little macaronis and fried green tomato sandwiches! Yummy! After stuffing ourselves, we went back to the rooftop and enjoyed some great music and dancing. The night was topped-off with some spectacular fireworks. After enjoying a relaxing honeymoon in Jamaica, Danna and Matt now reside in Prattville.
