About the Brasington's A Little About Us
Good morning! I'm finally giving in to this whole blog thing and I'm going to give it a try. I figured 'why not?' since I do like to write. Plus, everyone else is blogging so here goes. (Oh, I'm a pretty honest person which means sometimes I tell the harsh truth about things, so I'm not sure my blog will always be as sunny as you might expect)
Leon and I were married on May 16, 2009! Our wedding was truly perfect and we had the time of our lives with all of our friends and family there to support us. We were married at Taylor Road Baptist Church and our reception was at Arrowhead Country Club, complete with the best band ever, the Reloaders. We honeymooned in Jamaica at the Sandals Royal Carribbian. Amazing! I highly recommend a vacation to a Sandals Resort if you can. All inclusive is the only way to go.
Life together has been great for the most part. I dare any newlywed to tell me that everything is perfect and all roses for them all the time. Our beautiful home is in Forest Hills and we absolutely love it. It is a convenient location for both of our jobs. Leon works in the IT Department at the Montgomery Water Works and I work in Wetumpka as the Tourism and Recreation Coordinator for the County. (If you're ever looking for something to do just let me know, I'm you're go to girl.)
We do plan on having children just NOT anytime soon (I know you were wondering) so we bought a dog instead. Well, I really wanted the dog and Leon was sweet enough to entertain me and just go along with it. Our beautiful, energetic, fiesty dauchshaunds' name is Penny. She is 12 weeks old now and has more energy than we can contain. But, she brings a smile to my face everyday and no matter what she seems to always know how to make me feel better.
